In Calgary's bust, some businesses bloom

The Globe and Mail profiled businesses that have been successful in Calgary. Bryan de Lottinville and his Calgary-based software company Benevity have seen promising growth. Taking advantage of the lower wages and leasing a building which was previously out  budget, Mr. de Lottinville has able to help his company, which produces a platform for online workplace giving, donation matching and volunteering, grow. But, like many other Calgary-based companies, Benevity has also seen growth thanks to large-revenue sums from American clientele, with most of its operations costs are in Canadian dollars.
