Montréal's future may well rest in a new generation of entrepreneurs

The Montréal Gazette highlighted the city's emerging entrepreneurial climate and the positive effects it has in helping the city recover financially. Although the city placed last of 121 entrepreneurial communities in a recent ranking by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, companies such XPND Capital and other entrepreneurs are pointing to the opportunities in the city, where there are also eighteen development offices. Dan Delmar, a consultant at Provocateur Communications, argued that the future of the city may rest in the hands of entrepreneurs, not politicians.
