VEC takes to Copenhagen to share lessons on the Green Economy with world leaders

October 21, 2015

The Vancouver Economic Commission (VEC) is sharing lessons and ideas on building a Green Economy with leaders from around the world at the C40 Green Growth Network Workshop in Copenhagen this week. Network events are designed to help cities, across more than 50 countries, find ways to share resources, such as technical and financial support, so that their climate actions are bolder, more impactful and implemented faster and more efficiently than if they were to go it alone. The City of Vancouver, which joined the network in 2012, is considered an “Innovator” and leads the District Energy working group.
